Japanese Interpreter Client (Google Sites 2025)

I did a free website commission for a Japanese interpreter that is based in Brisbane, Queensland. This client already owned a Google Sites domain and wanted a fresh update for their early 2000s website. Through multiple client meetings both in person and online, I created and designed the site to their specifications.

I am currently still working with this client, continuing to provide more features and updates.

Designing for a real client

I approached the client when I heard about their need for a website redesign and update and offered my services. My services with the client are still on-going as we have plans for future updates and ventures.

What I did

Established connection to the client and schedules meetings both online and in-person throughout the entirety of the design process.
Worked with the client to design website layout and colour schemes.
Worked within the constraints of Google Sites to achieve the client's vision.
Worked with the client and their assistant to gather and create the website's content.
Provided updates on all website redesigns and changes to ensure the client's approval of my work

Features Implemented

A home page with a brief summary of the client, their services and testimonials from their own clients.
A qualifications and experience page where their resume is transferred into the website's formatting.
A frequently asked questions page with embedded content and links to relevant information.
An enquires page with the client's contact information with an embedded form.
All page layouts work for a smaller screens e.g. tablet and phone

Planned Features

A 'translator' button that changes the website's content into Japanese.
A client logo
Updated business cards that match the design of the website with a QR to the website.
