Co-Design Workshops for CFS/ME
Project Proposal (2026)
This project proposal is for series of co-design workshops to facilitate people in their twenties with chronic fatigue syndrome to identify areas of stigmatisation towards CFS/ME and explore solutions to reduce stigmatisation to improve their quality of life. In undertaking this study, participants will use the co-design process identify high priority groups or areas of stigmatisation over six workshops, designed by people with CFS/ME, the general public and Queensland health representative, to create an effective and appropriate campaign.
As this is a proposal for a real study, I have created an elevator pitch for the project as well as an example of recruitment material for young adults with chronic fatigue syndrome to gain participants for the study.

Chronic fatigue syndrome is a illness that not only effects many Australians but also my friends. I wanted CFS/ME to be the topic of my study as it is something the people close to me struggle with and I wanted to create more awareness to reduce the stigma towards the illness.
